Top-It-All Seasoning was developed in our kitchen for the purpose of enhancing the flavor of Meat, Chicken, Pork, Wild Game, Potatoes and Bread. After developing Idaho Kelly's Original Merinade I was in the kitchen throwing spices in a bowl and came up with Top It All Seasoning. It took some tweaking and a couple of changes but the funny thing was that I didn't write anything down. I have always cooked from memory and I now understand why that isn't really the best thing to do. I decided to put the ingredients down as a recipe and fortunately I made a large batch in the beginning so I started from scratch with the ingredients and worked until I came up with the exact same taste. This specific product is made without any sodium.
Our seasonings compliment our marinades but you will find that they have their own applications as well. When we use our seasonings, we dust with it. These are flavor enhancers and are intended to add flavor, not mask the taste of what you are cooking. We use our seasonings every time we marinade, and for that matter, every time we cook. One important thing of note with steaks, (especially prime beef steaks such as Rib-eye, T-Bone or Top Sirloin) we don't marinade, we use our seasonings. We dust both sides of the steak and sear on a hot grill for 30 seconds each side, dust both sides again and finish over a low to medium heat. We do the same with Halibut and Tuna steaks that are 1" or thicker. They are delicious! When you look at the ingredients, you will notice that we use Sea Salt, which is the 5th ingredient. Our seasonings are all natural.
